I just visited the main three day MEDC 2007 event in the US and met up with the VIP Redmond speakers coming to MEDC Singapore.  Since I had my camera there, I thought you folks would like to meet them.

Derek Snyder – MEDC 2007 Global Content Owner Redmond

Product Manager in the Mobile and Embedded Devices Group, Microsoft.
Derek has been working with mobility for over 10 years, getting his start with a Compaq C-140 Handheld PC running Windows CE 1.0. Derek has been with Microsoft since 2005. During this time he has been focused on developer outreach for the Windows Mobile platform, a task that has ultimately led him to be Content Owner for the MEDC Worldwide Tour. Derek now looks to the future: the possibility that applications could exist in the form of a web service consumed by a world of devices, and more importantly, the hope of a Windows CE 2.0 ROM upgrade for his beloved Handheld PC.
